Optional folders for writings, SynapNotes, and screenplays — tint each icon with a muted color, or leave them plain. Create, drill in, swipe to move; skip them entirely and the library stays exactly as it was.

Opt-in keystroke recording with timing. Replay your session at 1x–20x, condense the thinking pauses, export a proof file or a small video — a record of the words arriving, keystroke by keystroke.

Cross-Device Sync

Start a poem on your iPhone, continue on your iPad, refine on your Mac. Optional iCloud sync runs quietly in the background, through your own iCloud account.

Private by Design

No Poemir accounts. No ads. No third-party analytics or tracking. Your writings are stored on your device, and the language tools run there too, offline. A few optional features involve Apple's services:

  • iCloud sync — keeps your library in step across your Apple devices through your own iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit. Turn it off in your device's iCloud settings and everything stays on that device.
  • Writing Tools proofread — off by default. It uses Apple's system intelligence, and only when you enable it and ask for it.
  • Writing proof — off by default. It records keystrokes on your device as you type and backs up through your iCloud only when you leave the app.

Poemir includes no generative AI. Kids Mode is parent-gated. You choose what to export and where to share it.
